Hiking Cory Pass in Banff National Park is a great hike for those that have some energy and don\u2019t mind steep and varied terrain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is Aspens forest starting off then some Douglas for and a variety of pine and mixed forest as you climb up. In this video we do the hike to a point where there is some down climbing that not everyone was comfortable doing so we had lunch there with beautiful views. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At about the 4.5 km \/ 2.8 miles mark. We returned the same way however you can also do this as a loop which is about 12.5 km or 7.7miles Bring lots of water and be prepared for wind rain and because your in the mountains snow is not a surprise. Be prepared to carry bear spray. Cell reception does work as you are close to Banff and this is still front country. Good hiking shoes with good tread are mandatory. This is not for flip-flops! Be smart. There are a few great spots for those that just want a view of Rundle Mountain vermillion lakes and the ranges which is only about 1.5 km \/ 1 mile up the trail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
